Converted from the old farm outbuildings, the Granary is situated in one corner of the courtyard and is where the grain was originally stored. The Granary sleeps 2 (with room for a cot) in a king size bed in the style of an old Welsh box-bed and is situated on a mezzanine floor in the apex of the roof, which has a velux window for star gazing! The bed linen is Sanderson and Laura Ashley designs, and the bed is made with cotton sheets over a luxurious topper and mattress. There are plenty of plump cushions and pillows to aid a good nights sleep, or, to make a good retreat for the day with a good book!
Downstairs the open plan living area has a comfy sofa and chair, and a log burning stove ready for a cosy night in cooler weather. The living area is equipped with a TV ,”free sat”, DVD player and a stereo system. The kitchen is designed in a country style with hand-made plate rack, hob, cooker, and microwave. There is also a washing machine in the cottage.
The bathroom is on the ground floor and has a good pressure shower over the bath with a wash basin and toilet.
From the living area, the french doors open onto a small raised patio with a set of bistro table and chairs for outside dining. Down steps into the garden you will find a pair of steamer chairs with full size plump
cushions to relax on under the dappled shade of pine trees. The views from the enclosed garden look out to sea, as well as over the fields to Penbryn and beyond to the Lleyn peninsular.
