With the fine weather at the beginning of the week, Kris fixed up his new rib and set out on a maiden voyage around the local beaches and out to the point at Aberporth. It proved a very rewarding trip for Kris and his friend Nick, they not only caught a supper of herrings for everyone, but where thenĀ followed by a pod of dolphins who were very keen to show off their acrobatic skills. Those of us who where left land-locked with the children
on the beach at Tresaith where not left out as the dolphins also decided to have a little fun there too. Needless to say their were smiles all round that evening as we ate our herrings and looked at Nick’s fab pictures!

We were due to camp in our campervan on 4th, 5th April, but the high winds and rain forced us indoors. We were very happy to be able to stay in the 2 bedroom static caravan – superb views and very warm and comfortable, great shower and cooking facilities. Chris and Tracey were really helpful and welcoming – Chris even fixed the table in our van and Tracey had chocolate easter bunnies for kids on our departure. They pointed us in right direction to great local beaches and beauty spots.
The camping meadow looks like it would be a great place for our van/tents in better weather – we’ll be back for sure.
Thanks
